Rafale France
During her visit to our Argonay plant in January 2021, French Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly announced that her ministry had placed an order for 12 Rafales to compensate for the aircraft sold to Greece. A further order for 30 more Rafales, for delivery after 2027, is planned as part of the 2019‑2025 military spending bill. And another 12 Rafales will also be ordered to replace those sold to Croatia.
ATL2 modernization
In May 2021, we delivered the fourth ATL2 upgraded to Standard 6.
Balzac: providing support for the Mirage 2000 in France
In January 2022, the French Ministry of the Armed Forces awarded us the vertically‑integrated Balzac support contract for the French Air and Space Force’s Mirage 2000 fighters. This 14‑year contract involves providing operational maintenance for French Mirage 2000 fleet until they are retired from service. This contract comes on the heels of the vertically‑integrated Ravel (Rafale) and Océan (ATL2) contracts.
