Falcon 10X and the future of maritime patrolling
The Falcon 10X is one of the contenders selected by the French defense procurement agency (DGA) in December 2022 for inclusion in a system design project aimed at developing a future maritime patrol aircraft.
Maritime patrol missions are currently performed by a fleet of 22 ATL2s built by Dassault Aviation. By the end of 2022, a total of 9 French Navy ATL2s had been upgraded to standard 6.
Balzac: providing support for the Mirage 2000 in France
In January 2022, we announced that we had been awarded the vertically-integrated Balzac support contract for the French Air and Space Force’s Mirage 2000 aircraft. The entire French fighter fleet will henceforth be covered by contracts ensuring the operational availability of aircraft involving a single service provider.
Phase 1B of the FCAS/NGF
In December 2022, acting on behalf of the French, German and Spanish governments, the French defense procurement agency (DGA) awarded Dassault Aviation, Airbus, Indra, EUMET and their industrial partners the contract for phase 1B of the Future Combat Aircraft System (FCAS) demonstrator.
This contract will provide funding for demonstration work on the FCAS and its various components. Dassault Aviation is the prime contractor for the New Generation Fighter (NGF).
