WELCOME ABOARD 2022-2023

Highlights

Honoring the fallen heroes of aviation

Our CEO presided over the June 28, 2022 ceremony, in Mérignac, in honor of those French aeronautics workers who were members of the Resistance and were killed, shot or deported during World War II.

Today, we at Dassault are committed to ensuring that France remains in control of its national destiny, said Eric Trappier, and that it has the necessary military assets to safeguard its decision‑making powers and independence of action in a troubled world. We are determined not to be subservient and we are proud of our commitment to the independence of our country and of its armed forces. This is something that is not always clearly understood. However, it is a defining feature of our corporate culture, something that was instilled in us by both Marcel and Serge Dassault. We are steadfast in our allegiance.

Extension of the Seclin plant

Inaugurated on September 23, 2022, after a year and a half of construction work, the enlarged Seclin plant will provide additional jobs. The new workshops are devoted to coating and sheet metal activities.

Aeronautics factory of the future

On June 3, 2022, at our Mérignac site, there was a presentation outlining the work carried out at our research and technology (R&T) platform, “Aeronautics Factory of the Future.” Its work is focused on new technologies in the areas of manufacturing, production cells, assembly, as well as surface treatments designed to reduce environmental impacts.
